The JECC is the official newsletter of Jorhat Engineering College. It has its roots way back in 1989, when it was introduced for the first time in the college(but unfortunately discontinued later!). 22 years later, this initiative to make the JOENCOVITES conscious about the happenings in and around JEC took a reincarnation. With just one edition under this initiative, the JECC is very much at its infancy. Hence, it is a request from the JECC editorial board to all JOENCOVITES.. "Please support us! Help make this initiative sustain!"
As a humble start, we have introduced a polling section to this blog. The link to the polling section is to the right of this page, under the title "Features". With time, we intend to introduce more features and resources!

I congratulate you for taking out the golden jubillee special issue of the chronicle. But i am really grieved at your editing style.First let me tell you that it takes lot of pain to write a single article sincerely, coz u hav to refer to books, look the net,do a lot of thinking.I wrote the article-"Engineering for Engineering's Sake" with that sincerity. But as if all the hard work has been wasted. My article has been edited to that extent that only a part of it has been published ,without even consulting me.O.K,you can do the editing, but deleting more than half of the article?.U may say that lack of space, better not publish it that publishing half of it.Even the half published article could have carried meaning had the line before the last line been well edited....The line says "express my views in the later part of the article.."but where is the later part....I hav told these because i m hurt, very much hurt.I have even told Siva Shiva Prasad Saikia about this. Before taking out the newsletter,he rang me for an article.I was busy wid so much work.Stil i took out time to write because it was for my Jorhat Engineering College's THE JEC CHRONICLE,news letter of my own college.I do not blame you because you might be very busy those days,But I expect Sincerity on your part in your future in every work. This is not an advice that u will have to take. This is just my wish only.
Great Going...!!! Don't get influenced and never fear to speak out your heart...!!!
